1949 MG

My wife always liked the old MGs and I thought I'd try to make a wooden one. I got pictures from the Internet, scaled them up and made one. Each spoke is a stainless steel wire hand glued to the rim. I used South American Cherry, Mahogany, walnut and Maple. I am pleased with how it turned out. This is NOT a toy.

I think I would go insane trying to put something like that together. Then closest thing that I did was to make a boat for my nephew and it would not hold a candle to the work you have in this car. NICE!!!!

It did take a lot of time, calculations and patience. I do what I love and I love what I do.

I don't like to make anything in multiples, one is enough. Then I go on to another idea.

    Thanks for the kind words.
